Cacao Banana Smoothie
This smoothie is one of my favs - a yummy, healthy, chocolate hit when you are craving something sweet, but full of healthy antioxidants and magnesium, zinc and iron in the cacao, and healthy omega 3 fats in the seeds. You can vary the seeds you use: chia, hemp, ground flaxseed, sunflower seed, or pumpkin seed. Great for breakfast or dessert.
1 c unsweetened almond milk
1 frozen banana cut into chunks
2-3 pitted dates
2 level T organic raw cacao powder
1 T chia seeds
1 T hemp seeds
Blend til smooth. Enjoy.
